OUR STORY
A family tradition, carried forward one batch at a time.
Lau’s Little Hearth is inspired by childhood visits to the annual Buddhist Temple Bazaar in Sacramento, where my family looked forward to the same furikake snack mix every summer.
We loved it so much that my mother decided to make her own version at home. She started with a recipe, adapted the ingredients to her taste, and over time it became part of how we gathered, gifted, and shared with family and friends.
After my mother passed, I kept making it in her honor. Today, I continue that recipe with a few thoughtful updates, using avocado oil, honey, and grass fed butter.
Rooted in memory and shaped by generations, Lau’s Little Hearth is my way of sharing a little piece of home.
THE MIX
A sweet savory ode to Hawaii’s beloved furikake snack mix, slow baked in small batches for a golden, craveable crunch. It’s nostalgic, comforting, and dangerously snackable.
FURIKAKE
toasty, umami flavor
RAW HONEY
sticky sweet depth without corn syrup
AVOCADO OIL
an intentional swap from seed oils
GRASS FED BUTTER
rich, cozy flavor that brings it all together
